A Tale of Creative Women and One Guy
What to do, what to do? Cindy needed a job, and her husband, Tim, had an idea. She loved painting watercolors and always designed original cards for him at Christmas time … so, why not design cards? A few kind-hearted shopkeepers offered advice. Tim gave a lot more suggestions. The whole family gave moral support and voila! Studio C was born in a restored schoolhouse in Jericho, Vermont.

From selling eight designs out of the trunk of the car to over 100 designs in stores around the country, Studio C grew. Soon its artists included not just Cindy, but her mom, Bev, too. Now, there's also the Fifi and Ave line, nicknamed for Tim and Cindy's daughters and designed by Cindy's sister-in-law, Kathryn.

Creativity is great, but that doesn't always mean success. We're lucky enough to have Tim and his mom, Wendy, handling the business side of things. So, you see, we've kept it in the family.

We're grateful to all our friends and customers who've helped us along the way. Enjoy!
